Why live in Mont-Tremblant, in the Laurentians?
In addition to the many lakes and rivers to sail, swim and play, there are the beautiful mountains to climb, walk and admire the scenery. The ecosystem is perfectly orchestrated and walking through it gives us a great feeling of lightness and power, as if the world belonged to us, as if everything was possible. The Laurentian region is a place where simplicity reigns and where well-being settles in. Thank you to nature for giving us this feeling.
Far from the traffic of the big cities, deer, squirrels, wild turkeys, turtles and a few moose sometimes cross our path to make us smile.
Tremblant, a beautiful playground all year round.
At Mont-Tremblant, there is a wide range of sports, activities and recreation for all tastes. Between the little train of the north, the bike paths and the many golf courses, we can practice all our favorite activities, no matter what the season. Skiing, tennis, hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, sailing, ziplining, mountain biking, gravel road biking, fat biking, swimming, yoga, paddle boarding, canoeing, golf, skateboarding, sledding, tree-to-tree, field hockey, ice skating, river rafting or track and field are just a few of the sports activities that can be easily practiced in our city.
Tremblant, a booming region.
Over the past few years, my city has made incredible investments in its infrastructure, including the construction of an aquatic complex, tennis courts, a pump track, a skate park, a basketball court, public spaces, a dog park, and to modernize and expand our CEGEP. The municipal bus is free for all.
Naturally, our region is currently experiencing strong population growth.
The people are friendly and all have the good of their region at heart. The community is united and actively considers health, ecology, education and the environment. My region is a village of enthusiasts and they embellish the soul of the city that is Mont-Tremblant.
Family farmers, local artisans and eco-responsible people are a great asset to the community.
A private college for elementary (4th, 5th and 6th) and high school students is moving to our Mont-Tremblant region in 2024. Collège Laurentien has made this announcement for the fall of 2021, so stay tuned for more information.
At the elementary campus, several projects are underway to bring fresh air to our little ones. A green schoolyard and an outdoor classroom facility are planned for the campus in the near future. What a great way to enhance the experience of students and teachers, they will benefit from a stimulating and motivating environment.
The summer market, specialized sports clubs, events such as the Ironman, the mountain of Mont-Tremblant and its many attractions, prestigious hotel sites and gourmet restaurants stand out to make our city shine on an international scale.
Tremblant is a region where tourists are seduced summer and winter alike, whether it’s by the flamboyant colors of autumn or the smell of buds and rebirth in spring. The four seasons make our Laurentian region a place where everything is there to flourish.
Investments in our region remain a safe bet for foreigners and locals alike. For a residence or for a piece of land, the reduced offer and the current demand guarantee a great security.
As a real estate broker in the heart of Mont-Tremblant, I have heard many testimonies from outsiders who have come to Mont-Tremblant for simple visits or during their vacations, and then, over time, settle here semi-permanently with the purchase or rental of a second home and sometimes permanently by moving to Mont-Tremblant to live in the Laurentians. Long live telecommuting!
My wife and I have a similar story: after graduating from university in 2006, we came to settle in our wonderful region of Mont-Tremblant. Little did we know, at the time, that our region would win our hearts permanently. Being frequent travelers, we don’t see ourselves living or raising our family anywhere else. It is here that we want to continue to put down roots with our children, who are now 8 and 11 years old.
Because our region is the most wonderful, the most beautiful and the most unique: to try it is to adopt it.
